- You will receive study-related care throughout the study from a team of experienced doctors and nurses.
- You will receive all study-related care at no cost.
- You may will be paid for each study visit you complete.
What else do I need to consider?
The study team will be able to explain more about what the Healthy Adult Study will involve, and it is up to you to decide if you want to take part. Participation in this study is voluntary. Whether or not you decide to participate in this study will not affect your current or future relationships with your doctors. If you decide to participate, you are free to withdraw at any time without affecting those relationships.
How far is the research site?
We match you to a research center within a close travel distance from your home. If we are not running the study in your area currently, with your permission, we will keep you in our database and reach out once a research center in your area becomes available. About the Healthy Adult Study
The Healthy Adult Study is researching is the safety and tolerability of the study drug administered as a single spinal injection in healthy adults. If you qualify and choose to participate you will be helping advance medicine by testing a slow-release local anaesthetic that has already been FDA approved to manage pain.
Participation includes overnight stays at a research center for less than one week, as well as one follow-up visit and one follow-up phone call.
Study participants will receive all study-related care at no cost. Participants will be paid for each study visit they complete. Participants will receive up to $2,000 for completion of the study.
